Kisspeptin-10 calculator
Kisspeptin-10 is a 10-amino-acid peptide that tells the hypothalamus to release GnRH, which raises LH, FSH and testosterone. In men, IV boluses of 0.3 to 10 nmol/kg (roughly 30 to 900 mcg) raised LH within minutes; in women the response depends on cycle phase and subcutaneous boluses up to 32 nmol/kg did nothing in the follicular phase.
- Frequency
- 2 to 3 times a week (community); continuous exposure blunts the LH response
- Timing
- morning or before training; some take it 1 to 2 hours before sex, copying kisspeptin-54 arousal studies
- Cycle
- 4 to 8 weeks, then off; daily use risks desensitizing the response
- Route
- subcutaneous (community); intravenous in the published studies
- Easy mix
- 5 mg + 5 mL = 1 mg/mL, so 100 mcg = 0.1 mL = 10 units and 200 mcg = 20 units. A 10 mg vial + 5 mL is 2 mg/mL: 100 mcg = 5 units.

About the Kisspeptin-10 math
Kisspeptin-10 is a ten-amino-acid fragment of the kisspeptin peptide. Suppliers list it in 5 mg and 10 mg vials. The example draw is 100 mcg, and a 1 mg/mL solution makes the microgram math trivial. A 5 mg vial with 5 mL of bacteriostatic water is 1 mg/mL, or 1,000 mcg/mL. A 100 mcg draw is 0.1 mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe, so every unit is exactly 10 mcg, and the vial holds 50 draws. A 10 mg vial with 5 mL is 2 mg/mL, where 100 mcg is 0.05 mL, or 5 units, with 100 draws in the vial. Smaller fills push the draw toward the bottom of the barrel: 10 mg in 2 mL is 5 mg/mL and 100 mcg is only 2 units, while 5 mg in 2 mL is 2.5 mg/mL and 100 mcg is 4 units. A 5 mL fill needs a vial that holds it; 3 mL in a 5 mg vial is 1.67 mg/mL (rounded) and gives 6 units per 100 mcg.
Kisspeptin-10 questions
Kisspeptin-10 dosage for testosterone?
Community use is 100 to 200 mcg subcutaneously two or three times a week. The human studies that raised testosterone used IV boluses of roughly 30 to 900 mcg or controlled subcutaneous infusions, not single shots, so the 100 to 200 mcg figure is an extrapolation. Start at 100 mcg.
How many units of kisspeptin is 100 mcg?
At 1 mg/mL (5 mg in 5 mL) 100 mcg is 10 units. With 2 mL of water it is 4 units, which is hard to measure, so use more water.
How many units is 100 mcg of Kisspeptin-10 at 5 mg in 5 mL?
5 mg divided by 5 mL is 1 mg/mL, or 1,000 mcg/mL. 100 mcg divided by 1,000 mcg/mL is 0.1 mL, which is 10 units on a U-100 syringe. Each unit holds 10 mcg.
How much bacteriostatic water for a 10 mg vial of Kisspeptin-10?
Any volume the vial holds. 1 mL gives 10 mg/mL, 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL and 3 mL gives 3.33 mg/mL (rounded). A 200 mcg draw is 2 units, 4 units or 6 units at those three concentrations.
How many 200 mcg draws does a 5 mg vial of Kisspeptin-10 hold?
5 mg is 5,000 mcg, and 5,000 divided by 200 is 25 draws. With 5 mL in the vial (1,000 mcg/mL) each 200 mcg draw is 0.2 mL, or 20 units.
