Why per-mg and not per-vial

Vial prices are not comparable because vial masses differ. A $40 vial and a $70 vial tell you nothing until you know the first holds 5 mg and the second 10 mg; then the second is cheaper per milligram. Shipping matters more than it looks on a single vial and less on a pack, which is why the calculator folds it in before dividing. The cost guide covers packs, free-shipping thresholds and the per-draw view.

Questions

How do I calculate cost per mg?

Add shipping to the price, divide by the number of vials to get a price per vial, then divide by the milligrams in one vial. A $40 5 mg vial is $8.00 per mg; a $70 10 mg vial is $7.00 per mg.

Is a bigger vial always cheaper per mg?

Usually but not always, and the per-mg figure is what tells you. Run both through the calculator with shipping included and compare the per-mg lines.

How do multi-vial packs work in the math?

Divide the pack price by the number of vials first. A 10-vial pack at $300 is $30 per vial; at 5 mg each that is $6.00 per mg.
