Hexarelin dosage

Hexarelin is the strongest of the GHRP family per dose: in a 1994 study of healthy volunteers, 1 mcg/kg by IV released about twice the GH of GHRH, and 2 mcg/kg more again. It also raises cortisol and prolactin, and the GH response fades within 1 to 2 weeks of daily use. Users commonly inject 100 to 200 mcg under the skin one to three times daily in short cycles. It was never approved.

Basis: published study (Ghigo et al., JCEM 1994, 12 healthy volunteers, IV and subcutaneous). about 70 to 140 mcg for a 70 kg adult; subcutaneous bioavailability was high

Hexarelin dose to units chart

2 mg vial + 1 mL bacteriostatic water = 2 mg/mL (20 mcg per unit on a U-100 insulin syringe). 2 mg + 1 mL = 2 mg/mL, so 100 mcg = 0.05 mL = 5 units; 200 mcg = 10 units. A 5 mg vial with 2.5 mL gives the same 2 mg/mL.

Side effects

Before you start. Human dosing is not established beyond single-dose studies; the daily ranges are user protocols. It raises cortisol and prolactin more than ipamorelin and GHRP-2, and it stops working after a week or two of daily use, which is why people cycle it. Avoid with active cancer or a cancer history. Not medical advice; start low and talk to a clinician.

Hexarelin dosage questions

How much hexarelin should I take?

The human studies used 1 to 2 mcg/kg, about 70 to 140 mcg for a 70 kg adult, as a single dose. Users commonly inject 100 to 200 mcg one to three times daily, fasted. On a 2 mg vial in 1 mL, 100 mcg is 5 units.

Why does hexarelin stop working?

Daily dosing attenuates the GH response within 1 to 2 weeks in the published studies, with partial recovery after a few days off. That is why community cycles are short, 4 to 8 weeks, and why many rotate it with ipamorelin or GHRP-2 rather than run it alone for months.

Hexarelin vs ipamorelin?

Hexarelin releases more GH per dose but also raises cortisol and prolactin and causes hunger; ipamorelin releases less and leaves those hormones mostly alone. For a long cycle most users pick ipamorelin and save hexarelin for short pushes. Doses are similar, 100 to 300 mcg.
